The title of “Greatest team of All-Time” will forever belong to the 1992 Men’s Olympic Basketball team, better known as “The Dream Team”.
This was no ordinary team.
This was the first time NBA players were allowed to play in the Olympics rather than college or amateur players and it was a one time event. This team was a collection of the best athletes in the world and of all time and when I say best team of All Time I mean no other collection of players throughout the decades would stand a chance.
The list is short, but distinguished.
The greatest player of All Time without argument is Michael Jordan, at the rise of his dynasty he lead the Dream Team along with the next G.O.A.T. Magic Johnson to a 47 point differential against the world. With them was the vicious Larry Bird, Clyde Drexler, the “mail man” Karl Malone, John Stockton, David Robinson, “sir” Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Scottie Pippen, Chris Mullin and Christian Laettner. Most had or went on to win Championships, have their jersey retired and enter the Hall of Fame.
The team to challenge their greatness.
As we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the greatest team ever assembled we take a look into finding a way to defeat this Juggernaut with the next greatest team, but will they be able to stand a chance or will they end up being a casualty in attempt to dethrone the Dream Team.
